Rick Weiland
President and CEO
A career spanning 30 years in the public and private sector, Mr. Weiland has served at the highest of levels of the Federal Government holding senior positions with former Democratic Majority Leader, Senator Tom Daschle, and as a senior official in the Administration of President William Jefferson Clinton. Additionally, Mr. Weiland served as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Code Council (ICC), a preeminent building safety and standards nonprofit based in Washington, DC. Through the course of his career, Mr. Weiland has developed deep relationships with a variety of current and former business executives, elected officials and decision makers across the country in national, state and local government, as well as officials in federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, issue advocacy and community organizations.
Adam Weiland

Adam Weiland is a consultant, and speaker in business innovation, modern marketing, and digital analytics. Mr. Weiland joined Weiland, Samuelson, and Roosevelt (WSR) in 2015 where he advises clients in the healthcare, banking, and communications fields. Prior to joining WSR, Mr. Weiland was a leader in digital marketing, communications, and policy development on Capitol Hill where he participated in a diverse set of roles as an aide to then Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) and later, as a Senior Advisor to former U.S. Senator and Banking Housing and Urban Affairs Chairman, Tim Johnson (D-SD). Mr. Weiland is active on numerous boards and charities. He studied philosophy and theology at the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

A career spanning 28 years in the public sector, Mr. Samuelson holds the unique distinction of having been the longest serving Chief of Staff in the United States Congress serving as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator and 18 year veteran and Chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, Tim Johnson. Due to Senator Johnson’s status as a senior member of the Democratic Caucus and longtime Senate Appropriator, Mr. Samuelson has the unique experience of having worked intimately on both the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform (DFA). His extensive network of influential Capitol Hill contacts and intimate understanding of the United States financial regulatory and healthcare apparatus are unmatched.
Winthrop Roosevelt

Winthrop Roosevelt has over a decade of experience in running and working on national campaigns, environmental and energy policy, and nonprofit advocacy. Mr. Roosevelt served on Massachusetts for Secretary of State John Kerry’s 2004 Presidential Campaign before transitioning to the firm Dewey Square where he worked on a wide array of public advocacy and political campaigns for various public and private entities. Most recently, Mr. Roosevelt served as Director of Public Affairs for MassINC, a preeminent Massachusetts based think tank, where he focused on a variety of public policy initiatives before the Massachusetts State House.

Mr. Tabor was an original co-founder and systems architect for Mountain Hardware. He has over 25 years of experience in production planning, sales forecasting, information technology implementation, CRM planning and implementation, and Internet marketing and social media leverage with numerous Fortune 500 companies. In his own words, “First I did the processes. Next, I graduated to modeling and automating them as the computer revolution took hold and matured. Finally, I ended up building broad models to integrate the interaction of information systems and material processes (supply chains, corporate information flow, consumer demand) and used that to take limited resources and maximize business impact.” Alan advises numerous tech organizations and startups where he focuses on Modeling, Games, Coding, Stories, Systems Integration, Systems Analysis, Miscellaneous and every changing software languages and tools, Strategic Integration.
